Information for Separated Families

For schools that opt for printed order flyers, SchoolPix supplies one order flyer per student to the school to be handed out to families.

However, we also supply a list containing each student’s unique ordering information to the school so this information can be provided to separated parents when appropriate.

Do separated families require separate codes?

The unique codes are specific to the student and are not parent/guardian specific.

Each parent/guardian will be required to create an online account of their own when they first visit the SchoolPix ordering portal. Multiple parent/guardian accounts can be linked to a child’s unique ID for this reason.

How do schools handle distributing orders to separated families?

There are a couple of different options available when parents or guardians are completing their order through the SchoolPix website.

The default option will be “Deliver to the Child’s School”. This will mean that the order OR orders will be delivered to the school and issued to the students to take home with them.

If parents or guardians prefer to personally collect their order when it arrives at the school, then they should select the “Hold at School Office” option during the checkout process. This will ensure their order is clearly labelled when delivered to the school.

Orders marked for “Hold at Office” should not be delivered to the classroom. Schools can contact individual parents or guardians to arrange for their order collection.

Will family and/or order information be shared?

SchoolPix takes the privacy and security of personal information very seriously. Each online account and profile is unique and private unless the account holder themselves chooses to share this information with others.

Our customer care team will only ever discuss an order with the account holder, and each account holder must verify their personal details.

If families have any questions or wish to confirm any details prior to ordering online for their children, they can contact our friendly customer care team, who will be able to assist or redirect their query as necessary.
