If your school wants to start using a Transport Victoria logo on your student ID cards, these are the basic steps the process follows:
- The school requests that SchoolPix design an ID Card with a placeholder for the Transport Victoria logo.
- Your Account Manager will email the draft render/s to the school so it can be attached to the Transport Victoria application.
- Transport Victoria approve the design and the use of their logo.
- The school then forwards the approval email to SchoolPix.
- Our design team then updates the ID card with the Transport Victoria logo and expiry dates on the card if required.
- We will provide you with a final sample for your approval and records.
Please visit the Transport Victoria website for details on how to apply for a license or renew your existing one.
PTV Becomes Transport Victoria
Early in 2026, the Department of Transport and Planning began advising schools that Public Transport Victoria would be transitioning to Transport Victoria, and requested that schools use the Transport Victoria logo on all new Student ID Cards.
During the transition period, Student ID Cards that have either the PTV logo or the Transport Victoria logo will both be accepted as correct concession identification. Schools will receive notification from Transport Victoria when their current agreement to use the PTV logo is due to expire, prompting them to switch to the Transport Victoria logo instead.
