At SchoolPix, we have a policy of seeking permission from parents or guardians before making any alterations to a child’s appearance in their school photo, such as removing jewellery, changing the hair colour, eliminating non-uniform clothing, or erasing logos from clothing. This approach is driven by our commitment to respecting parental consent, which in turn ensures privacy, cultural sensitivity, legal compliance, and trust in our practices. By adhering to this policy, we demonstrate ethics, respect, and consideration for cultural, personal, and privacy concerns when making decisions about the child’s image.

Seeking parental permission before altering a child’s appearance in their school photo is essential for respect, privacy, legal compliance, and maintaining trust.

We understand that at times students haven’t followed the uniform guidelines and despite this you want the photos to represent the school at your best.

Our photographers adhere strictly to the principle of respecting the rules and regulations set forth by each institution. They take every care but they don’t know your uniform guidelines as well as you do. Enforcing your school’s uniform guidelines is the school’s responsibility.

To ensure the highest level of transparency and respect for privacy, we require parental consent before making any alterations to a student’s photo. The child’s comfort and safety are our top priorities.

Please keep in mind that our photo editing process is a meticulous and time-consuming task. As a result, any agreed-upon edits will be subject to a nominal fee. This helps us maintain the quality and efficiency of our services, ensuring that every student receives the attention they deserve.
